The latest issue of The Student Life is now online.

In other articles on the front page, TSL looks at changes in alcohol funding and campus security.

The Life & Style section reviews the new film I Love You, Man and the local restaurant Kazama Sushi, while the weekly sex column examines one-night stands. Finally, Mallory Smith looks at the "top three dorms on the 5Cs" and Emily Radler profiles Emi Meyer, a Pomona senior who has released a new CD.

Sports looks at the NCAA basketball tournament while recapping action from games over spring break for CMS and Pomona-Pitzer.

FInally, the Editorials and Opinions section includes an argument for shop class, and John Holler looks at the quality of education in the U.S.

Welcome to The Student Life Blog

Welcome to the new online blog for The Student Life, the student newspaper covering all of the Claremont Colleges. Our hope is that this new blog -- which will soon be transferred to a new website for the entire newspaper -- will allow us to better communicate with readers outside of our weekly issues. This blog is in addition to our new presence on Twitter.

In addition to allowing us to communicate with you outside of the constraints of the weekly newspaper, we will also be using this blog to post breaking news updates from our staff (in news, life and style, sports, and opinions) through the week.

Finally, we hope that these new tools will be useful not only in our communication with you, but in helping you communicate with us. We encourage you to comment on our posts and give us your feedback.

Thanks,

Trevor Hunnicutt
TSL Editor
